do you have a northern and western perspective because that would make a great scale model

This building is clearly around 1500 ft., not 1450 ft. The actual submitted design is at 1500.

Nearly 1,500 ft with the spire, and nearly 1,400 ft to the roof? VERY nice!

Wow! Where did you hear or see that? Is the top of the spire 1,500? If so, how high is the roof?

Well if it used to be 1350 to the roof and 1450 to the spire, now being 1396 to the roof, i would assume it would be 1496 to the spire.

It says it on the diagram on the previous page, 1394 feet to the roof, and 1494 feet to the tip of the spire!
So 425m roof height and 455m spire!

I knew about the 1396. I thought that WI was suggesting that iti was now 1,500 to the roof.

An article I found about One Vanderbilt on NY YIMBY.

The annual tax bill for the GM Building is $32 per gross square foot, or about $5 more than what One Vanderbilt will pay, given its Central Park views and superior Plaza District location. But when you add in the $210 million that One Vanderbilt will pay upfront, the towers will likely come out about even.
I didn't know buildings are that heavily taxed.

Everything in NY is heavily taxed. NY has giveaways to the poor that make Scandinavia seem parsimonious by comparison, and they're paid for by obscene taxes,

..."giveaways to the poor"...the way you say that has something disgusting.

Even more disgusting is the fact that, for sure, you're gonna answer me under one of your multiple identities.

He doesn't get in elevators. He just climbs a pair of bootstraps to the penthouse, like everyone else should.

Those poor, always looking for handouts. The nerve of them.

New York has ghettos that make Bogota look like Paris, too. But you probably don't think about that since to you life only exists south of 96th St.

Personally, I call them human beings who deserve to live with dignity.

The fact that 'they' need to be called anything, that's the problem.

You're treating them as an insular, almost alien group, detached from society. Like animals in a zoo.

They're people. 'What do we call them'? We call them their names, you heartless bastard.
