Thank you so much for providing all these great maps and info about Fuzhou Metro!

I am currently working on a project to add all the future China metro lines and stations to Google Maps. You can use my project to see when the lines are planned to be opened by dragging a time scrubber back and forth. See the project here:

Would you be interested in helping to add the lines to the map for Fuzhou Metro? You need to have either Google Chrome or Mac OS's Safari web browser for it to work properly (I'm working on a solution for Internet Explorer and Mozilla Firefox).

Also, if you're in China, you may need to use a proxy or VPN for Google Maps to load properly.

If you can't help, could you at least help me find a much larger map, like the one you posted in post #16, so I could more easily add the lines myself?

Thanks for the great info!

Hi, I have posted some steps here about how to add the lines:
http://www.skyscrapercity.com/showpo...7&postcount=18

Make sure you download both files - the map viewer AND the point extractor:
https://docs.google.com/file/d/0B4p7...it?usp=sharing

https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B4p...it?usp=sharing

Or if adding the lines and stations to the code is too confusing, you can simply add them to ditu.google.com (you need a Google account - create a new map with "Or create with classic My Maps"), and then share the map with me so I can add it to the code of this project. (Send me the map's link after adding the line and stations. Only add one line and one set of stations per map - this is so we can use the KML point extractor to extract the code.

You can use map.baidu.com to see some of the planned lines in Fuzhou and copy them if that's the easiest way for now. For any other info, read the other posts in this thread: http://www.skyscrapercity.com/showthread.php?t=1609787

I know it's a lot of English, but if you have specific questions, I might be able to help with my 很差中文

What the heck happened in a year?

The first picture looks like your run-of-the-mill train, but the second one has ... character? Because, damn, if that's not a face then I don't know what is. It does look cute though, you just want to pinch its little cheeks!

Who's a good train??? You are!!!

Apart from that grinning train, I've read line 2 is now U/C and that line 1 will open in stages, first from either Dadao (just 'avenue' ) or Sancha Jie to the South station this year and the rest in 2016.

On November 30, 2016 full construction began on line 6. This line will run from Huizhan Zhongxin (Convention Center) to Changle Airport, spanning 40.9 km (damn, it should be 100 meters longer). Originally 20 stations were planned along the route, but Xianqi station was scrapped from the plans, thus only 19 stations will be built.

For some reason I didn't search it. Line 6 is planned to open on March 30, 2021.
