Basilica of Maxentius and Constantine construction began by emperor Maxentius in 308 AD and was completed in 312 AD by Constantine I. It was the largest building in the Forum.

These are the remaining fragments of a colossal statue of the Emperor Constantine that originally stood in the Basilica of Maxentius in the Roman Forum. They are now on display at the Capitoline Museums in Rome.

Temple of Vesta

All temples to Vesta were round, and had entrances facing east to symbolize connection between Vesta’s fire and the sun as sources of life. The Temple of Vesta represents the site of ancient cult activity as far back as 7th century BCE. Numa Pompilius is believed to have built this temple along with the original Regia and House of the Vestal Virgins in its original form.

The Temple of Venus and Roma (Templum Veneris et Romae) was probably the largest temple in Ancient Rome. It was dedicated to goddesses Venus Felix and Roma Aeternal.

Temple's construction began in 121 by Emperor Hadrian and it was finished in 141 by Emperor Antoninus Pius.
