guys, this is a proposal.. it's not a real project !!
unless anyone here can post evidence to indicate otherwise.. we would treat them as an architectural proposal..
there are MANY of them online, just because they look pretty it doesn't make them a real project.. its common for architecture firms to produce designs for their portfolios.. it doesn't imply it will be built or even that its a tendered project !
Karbala has the demand. If the law allows foreigners to own property many khalijis would buy apartments In karbala so they wouldnt have to rent out hotels during he Ziara.
Let's hope these modern big scale projects start picking up though.
looks great and i like the proposal project, but the question is were they wanna build it, the karbala food packing factory area. the facutry has a good reputation, and has to be revivied!
This is a great masterplan. The cultural importance of the city is taken into consideration as are the values of the people. Would love to see more detailed renders and can't wait to visit it in the future ( a BIG inshallah).
Just a note: It is timely and expensive for architecture firms to take on these design projects. AMBS seems to be very involved in these design competitions, but this design is for a private client, not a competition. That gives me more hope that we will actually see this one come through... eventually.
