Yes! It is a great addition to the Atlanta skyline! I am so tired of developers down here looking to make a fast buck with so many boxes. Hopefully, what's coming will be better.

Ah yes, the elegantly phallic Aegon Center: Dominating Kentucky since 1993.

Chop off that Ugly crown off the PNC Tower in Raleigh and it would look 100X better, in my opinion.

I think Bank of Am. Corp. in Charlotte takes it for me.

My favorites (in no particular order):

One Atlantic Center - Atlanta

Devon Energy Center - Oklahoma City

BoA - Charlotte

Fountain Place - Dallas

BOK Tower - Tulsa (surviving younger sibling of the Twins in NYC)

Fountain place is not the tallest building in Dallas though.

I still think of the BOK Tower in Tulsa as the Williams Tower (shows my age). That tower is BIG.

Hey, they have a Williams logo that they just put up a couple years ago on the other side of the tower.

And, I still think Devon Energy Center is under represented in this thread.

Devon tower is cool. As opposed to classier. That's not to say Devon isn't classy and boa Charlotte isn't cool. Devon is a beautiful gem.

Duke Energy Center has to be one of the top Second Tallest.

I just love that it looks like a completely different building from all angles.

Another building I'm insanely jealous of.

BoA in Charlotte is beautiful, it definitely has a "classier" look than Devon. Devon, on the other hand, is just down right "sexy," if you will.

BOA in Charlotte by far, although I think Raleigh is the best city in NC. (which is absolutely not what I expected to think when I visited them)

Devon is really cool, and would probably be my #2, except that I don't think it belongs in this thread. (although, I guess on second look it's technically grouped in with this forum, just doesn't seem like it should be)

It definitely comes down to personal preference, but I'm not the biggest PoMo fan, and I find Charlotte's BoA crown a bit over the top. It reminds me of the World Series Trophy. Devon is just so damn sleek and clean by comparison!

I don't know how it happened, but Oklahoma is a part of this forum.

Gorgeous building...it's even more beautiful in person. A Cesar Pelli design that is the world's only domed granite building.

I agree with you on that....it may look a bit small in photos, but drive to the city and check it out. It is very imposing upon the skyline, yet contains this sleek, clean elegance about it. This is the building that I grew up with and made me love skyscrapers to this day.

I can tell you that I don't feel "comfortable" browsing the Midwest forum. We need to be in a "South-Central," "Southwest," or "Texas/OK" type forum. I know the Texans would hate that, but, they would understand...

Anyway, beyond the point now.

I think a "Southwest Forum" would be a good idea if it would include the following states:

Texas
Oklahoma
New Mexico
Arkansas
Louisiana

I know that traditionally, most people define the Southwest as Oklahoma, Texas, New Mexico, and Arizona.

However, I think a case could be made for a couple other states. It's something interesting to kick around, though. I know when it comes to Oklahoma, people usually say "eh, we don't know where it goes, just throw it there."
