Has anyone noticed that Eastpoint Mall and Towson Commons

Are as dead as they want to be? There really needs to be some reuse of those properties

I'm not sure they exactly want to be dead but I think something could be done to revive those properties. Eastpoint Mall is on the brink but Towson Commons is DOA. I think that Towson Commons probably should rethink what type of venue they want to be. I doubt that trying to make it a successful mall would work since a huge, upscale and successful mall is a couple blocks away. Eastpoint could probably use a redo of sorts. It's one of those tired older malls that has nothing in particular special about it. Maybe something along the line of the Golden Ring Mall renovation.

Towson Commons was to be upgraded by a Bethesda company prior to the RE bust. Plans for something similar are on the table. Don't expect anything soon. Maybe it will fire up again after the election.

Looks like the Commons is going to be getting a potential rebirth and repurpose (The Dan Roddricks show talked about it).

yes, very dead! That's how Westview Mall was right after it opened back in the early 90's. I'm surprised it last as long as it did....
