Great city. But with the most boring skyline imaginable.
Would it be such a disaster to build am tower taller than 790'?
They tallest building in town was built in the early 70's.

as much as i hate to admit it you are right. Boston has a stick up it's collective butt when it comes to this subject. International Place in the '80's the last "tall" buildings that were built

There are 39 fully formed floors out of supposedly 55 (forget about "official" count, they skip floors and it's confusing). I believe it's about to hit 500' as soon as the next floor pushes skyward. (if not at least 150m) Maybe it happened today. That would put it just over 70% of the way to topping out.

The glass cladding is up to 26, so 2 more floors of that and the cladding should be around the halfway mark of the whole tower.

Boston is on its way to doubling its amount of 200 meter buildings from 2 to 4 (with 4 Seasons currently digging) and could come close to matching that in terms of 600' buildings, going from 5 to 9-10 within the next 5 years. It's coming. We're just starting to see it.
