That's pretty much equal to saying "every country should look like poor crap". ^

I'd rather a country look like North Korea than Africa.

Id rather live in North Korea than a capitalist junkyard that monitors everything you do on the internet and has basically no freedom at all too. Soon all countries will look like North Korea in some way.

Ok, stop politicizing this projects thread.
Sure, it's hard to avoid (even for me, see last page), but you're definitely crossing a line with posting videos and getting into deep discussions.

For such, please go to this thread for instance: North Korea from inside!

Now get back to introducing projects, thanks.

I think the designs of North Korea look great.

A good picture of a North Korean construction site.

Another building. Either housing or some office building...

Interesting! I am amazed how fast they have started to develop after 2008-2009.

Some kind of monument or something is being constructed here:

http://maps.google.nl/maps?q=Pyongya...publikken&z=17

And what appears to be a new part of the city is under construction here:
http://maps.google.nl/maps?q=Pyongya...publikken&z=18

Not sure how updated these images are though.

hard to see if its actually under construction though, can't see any action there, might have been on hold for years (there is hundreds of buildings that looks to be u/c in Pyongyang). But interesting to find, when its impossible to find anything elsewhere!

You are right, that could be the case. It's hard to know given the lack of info from that part of the world.

Remember that there was once a video showing the construction projects planned in Pyongyang; that could be one of them.

It's really huge, and has three wings, like the Ryugyong.

It's good to have a photographic record of North Korea.

"Yonggwan Hotel" under construction next to the Koryo Hotel. Speculated to be between 45-75 floors.
