Considering most asian monuments shown so far date back to the 11-13 centuries, they are actually medieval and not ancient as this thread is about. There is a reason why we don't show cathedrals and castles here.

I think that with 'ruins' we can show any construction partially destroyed that is at least a couple centuries old
