I'm not from Moldova and I can't seem to find the prices on the official Moldovan Railways site but I've found them in a news article from late 2012.
Quote:
It says a ticket with the new modernised D1M varies between 26.1 and 61.5 lei dependind on wich class (there are 3 classes). In the old D1 unmodernised train it says it's 23.5 lei (it has only 3rd class and wooden seats).

Here's a link so you can get an idea how the unmodernised ones look:

I made a map of the railway network of Moldova based on Google maps.

Hope I got all the lines. If not, just tell me, I will add them.

I honestly can't understand what they were thinking when they built this railway network. Just look at it. Besides Chisinau - Tighina - Tiraspol nothing is directly connected.

This is a map of Romania's railway network from 1921. Perhaps now it makes better sense.

I do not know any more, where i got this map from, but it is consistent with other maps I have from that time.

19 coaches make quite a long train. Really nice.

I have still one question, not really related to this video, since in this case, the answer is obvious:
Why does the Moldavian railway Company use mostly double traction units for passenger trains? Is it only because they are present in overwhelming numbers in the Moldavian loco fleet, or is there also another reason for this?
