Times square is tacky and over-rated, IMO. I like the old market squares around the world better.

Actually, I love the lights and the overall look! But I do agree that it's more like a row of widening of intersections rather than an actual square.... obvious if you look at a map...

Yes, I actually laughed when I saw Times Square. Its not really a square is it?

I think better ones from NYC would be either Union or Washington Square but they all pale in comparison to other squares from around the world. I'm sure there are better ones in other cities of the US
