When looking at the glass sections on the pictures, and its colour aswell, I'm a bit worried about what it will look like in 10 years...

Do we know what the cladding is going to be like, has anyone seen the samples?

Yes, on the previous page are a lot of pictures. To be honest, I'm not a fan...

Very nice project.

This render reminds me somewhat of Canary Wharf in London:

I suppose so. It's an aesthetically pleasing form, allowing natural light to penetrate the underground cavern.

The aesthetic difference with this Paris project is the internal texture of the walls. It'll be interesting to see how it physically looks, as the renders are very impressive.

I hate this place Les Halles.
I never go there, never go to the mall underground, avoid going through Châtelet lines when I take the metro, never visit any expo at the Pompidou Center, never been to its library since I was a student (went once, urghh...), always go round the area when I buy indian stuff at Passage Brady, always order taxi drivers to avoid the area, never settle there at night, never in the week, never on friday or saturday, never, never, never...

Am I the only one here to have this habit?

PS: I admit it's not quite as dreadful as it was in the past but still...

I've been there on a few occasions & each time indeed, this area was buzzing with scum. I guess the Canopée is gonna be their brand new headquarters...very promising.

I don't know why, there is almost nothing to fear in the area.

This afternoon
