I'm usually not a fan of Frank Gehry's work, but this project looks beautiful.

saw it today : it is VERY big, and makes a big impression, clearly a new monument for the city !

hseugut.
what about You say big impression?, the building dimension? or aesthetic-beauty?
did you seen only exterior or interior also? are the white icebergs parts beautifull like glass "sails"?

I saw it from the exterior, I am talking about its size, yes. I saw it emerging from the trees by the road and I really had to lift my head up to see the top. In the meantime it gives an impression of lightness, especially cause I saw it after the rain, and the sails were clean and reflecting ... Also the beams are really impressive.

I meant that it was "monumental" as it gives one an impression, like when you look at the Arc deTriomphe or the Coliseum or any other monument ...

What a shambolic, pretentious structure. Gehry found another sucka for his mad designs.

It looks like a couple of cracked eggs being put back together. Should be called the "Humpty-Dumpty" bldg.

Glad I don't live anywhere near it.

I'm the exact opposite. I like most of his designs, but this is by far the worst of his I have ever seen.
