Actually, it was second trip to Chicago. I was there for Memorial Day weekend. But can you believe I forgot my camera? So I decided to go back a month later. Couldn't wait any longer. Had to do it. I shoot with a Nikon D5000. Some shots I couldn't get because I had too much zoom, but I don't like to travel with a lot of lenses. It's too easy to lose one. So I only brought my zoom lens specifically for the observation decks. A few of the shots are not as clear and as perfect as I would like for them to be, but I often post for perspective regardless of the quality of the photo. Perfect or not, there is something in the photo I want you to see.

Anyway, great pictures, QuantumX. Keep them coming!
Thanks! I ignored him too pretty much by saying I'm just getting warmed up.

2. - Pictures from the river along Wacker Drive

Anyways, everything so far looks magnificent!
Thanks! I have lots more pics from the street coming, specifically the Magnificent Mile, which truly it is. My Flickr Pro account expired, and I have to wait until pay day to upload more photos.

Thanks, Parisian Girl! It is a great city.

In this photo, at the bottom, lighted at the top in red letters, is the hotel where I stayed - the Inn of Chicago!

Great stuff Quantum!

Next time you must come wander a variety of the neighborhoods which can be just as fun to photograph.

Thanks! I'm a die-hard skyscraper enthusiast though. I would only photograph neighborhoods in conjunction with the skyline beyond them. Navy Pier coming up next, then Ohio Street Beach. After that, I'll just be posting stragglers, after-thoughts, and comparisons, but right now, I must hit the sack.

Thanks, Christos! It was my first treatment of an area outside of South Florida. Next, I plan to do New York after the new World Trade Center opens.

It would be my favorite city if it weren't so cold in the winter, but Miami is looking more like Chicago every day.
