I wish the halle de La Villette‎ was not there.

false. it's a multi-ethnic area but not dangerous. i lived there when i was student. the area is more and more gentrified by middle class people looking to buy more affordable flats. There is a new tram line, a new shopping mall not far along the canal, and lots of offices are being built in that norh east corner of paris.

Also in Italy we have greatly appreciated this new architectural sign.
I know la Villette and I think it is a really good new building.

Here there is an italian article that makes many compliments about it, you can trust it. You can find it putting Artempi and philarmonie de paris on google

Merci beaucoup, et congratulations,
V

Really like the interiors!

As for the building per se, on some views I really love it, on some others I don't. Guess I need to see it myself. However, I really think the cladding looks like it's falling appart from distance, although, when closer, it looks awesome.

Quick question regarding the very last pic, what's that small white boxy building? It really doesn't fit (should be more greyish or black for that) with the Philharmonie.

It is one of "markstones" for the whole La Villette park, so it shall be painted red as others.
