Current infografic of the public transportation system in Hamburg

The "Hamburg Chamber of trade" suggested according to the demand of city majoy Olaf Scholz to
"think big again" with infrastructure projects several extension actions to 2030
The paper is called "Stadtmobilität 2030" which means somewhat like "mobility of the city 2030"
It can be downloaded here
http://www.hk24.de/standortpolitik/w...burg_2030.html

But I think you are not willing to read through 166 Pages in German, so tried to draw all extension suggestions to the
existing info grafic, but the current map cannot contain them due to some grafical issues. So I made a total new info
grafic on my own for comparsion. The map can be seen bigger here

I read that Hamburg will try to become a car free city, I hope this can be achieved.

The Green Network Plan is still ambiotous, a real and huge plan, the car industry will hate it, but Hamburg is not going to become car free at all. It is going to reduce and ban cars on main routes to the city center and giving bikes, walkways and busses the advantage and greening those "axis".

I am going to introduce and explain the plans in detail as soon as I have enough time for that.

Stay tuned.

Hamburg is doing an awesome job! These new buildings are modern, they are stylish, they are high quality and they are reminiscent of Hamburg's architectural traditions.
Erbse always keeps talking about the "New Berlin Style", but I think, Hamburg did a much better job, of finding it's own modern yet traditional style, that won't be an eyesore for future generations. The "New Berlin Style" could actually be from any other city around the globe. (That said, I'm still a big fan of Patzschke, Nöfer and Co.)

Prizeotel schon recht mutig

Hammerleev
