More photos of an absolute gem of a 21st century International Modernist buiding: 250 West 55th Street, NYC
This may even rival the works of Mies Van Der rohe, in quality of design.

A nice documentary outlining the history, philosophy and evolution of mid-century modernism and the International Style, definitely worth the watch.

What's an international building?
Are they buildings of United Nations or multinational organizations?

If it's true, I think they are under buildings:

United Nations building, NY.

'International Style' (or 'International Modernist') is the architecture of buildings that were built with traditional modernist ideals, such as a simple shape with linear emphasis or just pure simplicity. They use a lot of open space as well and reject overflowing detail in exchange for smooth and pure form. While they emerged in the 1920s, they were most common from the 1950s to the late 1970s, though quite a lot of buildings were recently built in a revival of this style.

The UN Building was built with 'International Style' architecture.

Pepsi-Cola Heaquarters, NYC, one of the landmarks of International Modernism, abound with open spaces, and an elegant silver facade.
