July 2015 Route Stats

Some observations for July.

Madrid saw 4375 pax which I make out to be a 91% load factor.

Turkish +23%

Turkmenistan -28% (LHR is showing -68% with only 700 pax?????)

Emirates +8%

Amritsar +92%

Delhi +64%

Toronto +1%

Newark -3%

Cancun +50%

JFK load factor was 66%

Islamabad and Beijing pax numbers are still showing zero.


Brussels +40%. Lyon +7%, Paris +10%, Dusseldorf +16%, Munich +6%, Athens +16%, Cork +5%, Dublin +11%, Amsterdam +15%, Barcelona +48%, Malaga +22%, Keflavik +44%.

WIZZ AIR arrives in Birmingham today. Another new airline to BHX

This is a great photo took today with a Norweigan 737.800 meeting a Wizzair A320.

The 2 new European Low Cost Airlines to arrive at BHX this year.

Although all these photographs are appreciated I think most of us know and recognise all the airlines, what would be more interesting is Airport news as featured by other Airports around the world.

WingTips, maybe you concentrate on MAN with your pages and pages and pages of writing with no pictures/photos showing off your airport or leave me to continue to showcase the airlines that visit my airport I know what i prefer.

I try and be a bit news based and photo based unlike your thread which is mostly just pages and pages and pages of writing.

Air India +99%. A load factor of 82%.

Air Transat +8%

United -4%

American 8311 a 76% load factor? Getting better but still needs to improve.

Cancun +71%

Orlando and Jamaica both down.

Madrid 4261, 88% load factor (surely it won't stay at 2x weekly for S16?).

Best of the rest

Brussels +43%, Paris +7%, Avignon +89%, Bergerac +56%, Dusseldorf +18%, Frankfurt +12%, Munich +18%, Athens +16%, Dublin +34%, Cork +7%, Venice +12%, Amsterdam +15%, Barcelona +28%, Keflavik +42%.

Warsaw now bookable and is up to 3x weekly Tue, Thur and Sat.

WAW 10:35 BHX 12:10
BHX 12:40 WAW 16:10



This route only started on Monday and is currently twice weekly.

Flybe at BHX

Apparently FlyBe are to start Rotterdam flights from BHX.12 flights a week,double daily weekdays and once daily at weekends.Start date to be announced soon.DHC4Q aircraft to be used

Great news if true.

What a fantastic addition to BHX, its been a long time since Iberia were at BHX. Even though Norweigan are a good airline for this route, Iberia will be able to offer the great connections down to South America.
