The glass is lighter than they are on the renders but nonetheless nice progress. Great to see Brooklyn seeing its share of the glassy towers. Hopefully in the future it can break the 600ft barrier

I'm just glad that the Brooklyner's ugly reign as the borough's tallest is over. Anyone have any new Brooklyn skyline pics?

Doesn't seem to be much interest in this project any more.

Not sure if I like this tower. Just doesnt seem to fit in Brooklyn. This massive imposing glass and steel building just doesnt fit with the red stones, and classical buildings in the area.

I think it looks good for an area not as dense as Manhattan.

Yes, downtown brooklyn looks amazing. I hope that brooklyn's skyline will be similar to manhattan's after some years/decades...

That part of downtown has more projects to "fill in" that whole area.

I know it hasn't something to do with population, but still, Brooklyn alone is bigger than Dubai, so maybe some day...

Although Brooklyn is the 3rd largest CBD in NYC, I don't see the need for a supertall in many years from now, although I would love to see a supertall on the other side of the East River. Frankly, a 700 ft tower alone can do so much for the skyline as currently theres no building there above 600 ft.
