Thank you, even though I don't post as much in the Guadalajara section, I enjoy your great updates of Puerta de Hierro, you take really good pictures.

That separate section of the building i believe runs through the entire height of it. If i'm right, those are the emergency stairs. Many buildings in Mexico city use similar systems to incorporate these stairs, sort of like sometimes is done in New York.

In this other picture, also by Martin, we can notice that this piece is part of a second level

Great! Exactly what I was looking for! Thank you sooo much, Ral909!
The "Stairs?" arrow was actually questioning where the stairs were located on the floor plan!
Thx again!

Given the type of structure that Torre Bancomer has (lots of pre-fabricated elements), the progress will most likely be faster than that of Torre Reforma.

Hopefully, in a couple of months both buildings will engage in a "vertical competition" and that will be a delight for us to witness.

Those columns are huge! Although this is not my preferred tower in Mexico, it is going to be a great addition to Mexico City's skyline, and unlike Torre Reforma (which I like more), its location will permit to admire this tower at its best!

All four of them Torre Mayor, Torre Reforma, Punto Chapultepec, and this Torre bancomer will be a huge ccomplishment for Reforma. I'm sure that when Puerta Reforma, Cine Latino (R296), and Reforma 432 gets build, all 7 towers are going to look amazing as a 200+ cluster of buildings. Not to forget two of them might go over 300.

Update 3 October 2012

The Tower continues growing up! Two more pics from yesterday (3 Oct 2012) taken from the Mexican thread. Next three storeys are already being added.

The first pic was posted by @ominorg:

A nighttime photo posted by @Ria. It was taken from a nearby building (Torre Mayor, I guess):
