One of the best residential buildings going up today in the entire world today. It's bold and it makes a statement.

Why is the cladding going up so fast? Normally it would take a while for it to be put on

I noticed that too. While all the other towers in the world get their cladding in a way later stage, the cladding almost goes up to the floors that still have to be poured in Australia/Melbourne. Why is that so?

It isn't always the case and this tower does have a few floors of safety screens below the most recent poured level.

I'd guess weather reasons maybe, we've just headed into winter and the snow season begins up in the alps this weekend and it has been a bit wet recently.

Or they just have a good formwork crew who are able to make new floors quickly without too much delay and are running things tight.

The purple bits look interesting, certainly. Would have been nicer if they were less matte.

Sad to see this is what architecture has come to.

What are you talking about?? This is a beautiful tower.

I'm curious. What don't you like about it?

I'm just melancholic about classic architecture. Probably wouldn't be able to express in words, what makes me feel uncomfortable about this design and most contemporary buildings

I'm not sure why but I love this building. The chaos of it makes it. The purple is so different than anything else. It's cool. I can't imagine trying to build it though, thats gotta be one hell of a puzzle.
