Helsingborg - a pearl of the Sound
Helsingborg is a port city which is located on the Southwestern part of Sweden. It is a major regional centre of trade, transport and business as well as a place to see some beautiful hystorical and modern architecture. The city is located at the closest point between Sweden and Denmark, with the Danish city Helsingør clearly visible on the other side of the Öresund about 4 km to the west.

I think it can be considered as quite near, it takes about 40 minutes to travel there by car and with train only like 20-30 min or so!

All of Swedish West coast is pretty well connected actually From the Oslo region in Norway down to the Oresund region with Copenhagen in Denmark and Malmö/Lund/Helsingborg in Sweden! And then we have cities like Gothenburg, Borås and Halmstad in between that too! And all the the cities are both well connected by motorways and railways!

City hall
Another landmark is the City hall. It is a 70m/230ft tall neo-Gothic building built in 1870. The stained glass windows of the hall depict events in the history of the town.
