ano ng mangyayari sa Lumbia airport kung operational na ang Laguindingan airport? for sure mababawasan ang income ng CDO City gov't.

di naman siguro..direct income lang yan sa fees, pero ang indirect income sa city and of course ang benefits sa cities ng CDO and iligan na ididulat ng Laguindingan airport ang mas importante

still has a long way to go to get at par with Davao's, IMO. Davao's airport has a unique Filipino design and has 4 aerobridges. Maybe for Norhern Mindanao it is.

I'm pretty sure kaya itinayo yang LIA ay dahil kaylangan na talaga ng World Class Airport to the point it was touted the Most Modern in this Part of the country. Lalong dadami ang chartered local flights with Greater CDO's upcoming Mega-Projects. International Flights might also be possible in the near future seeing that Hanjin, Ayala etc are planning to put Millions - Billion $ investments that will surely catch the eye of the International Community.

these infrastructure will go to waste if there are hardly planes landing (vis-a-vis the new airport) or big ships docking (vis-a-vis the seaports-> as shown in a picture posted in the cdo-iligan thread)...
