Belgrade is really beautiful city, thanks for pics

It's only one thing that Belgrade actually don't fit to N&B region, but still it's nice to see some photos of cities like Belgrade

I've already seen most of those places in other Belgrade photo threads. I can make a conclusion that I already know the city pretty well, now all I heve to do is to see it "live" what I hope will be the case sooner or later

Dunno about mine, but I see some smoke coming out of computer. This shouldn't be good...

BTW, I expected to see more marks of the bombings etc. but it all looks clean and fresh. Or maybe the photo's are a few years old?

@Mantaz-I didn`t know much about baltic states before coming here(except of the amber sellers ). Most of the people in Serbia know Lithuania but Latvia and Estonia are "those...let...e..russian states" caucas states are azerjania and central asia is turjistan. very sad but people are very ignorant. no tourist agency provides baltic states not even Warsaw because everyone would say:going where? baltics? are you kidding.

I personally knew the names and capitals but not much about them. Now I see they are some of most beautiful capitals in Europe.

@LatvianGG - pics are from 2003 and 2004. of the bombing you can see chinese embassy, television(they don`t want to clean it obviously) and military HQs which are the worst because they are in the center of the town. Military has no money to fix them but they don`t want to sell them either.

everyone else THANKS!

If you have anymore questions just ask

Very very very rich city (with heritage).
Interesting to see that there are used buth Cyrillic and Latin alphabetes. Serbs most likely have used to read their language both ways.

Well yeah we use both alphabets. Its 50-50 usage I'd say. I personally write in cyrillic because its the first script I learned but when I write like this (whats its called? not handwriting style but more like typing) I write in Latin script

You should know that except of couple of buildings and old fortress Belgrade was mostly built after WW I for beautiful buildings (it was actually rebuilt on the place of ugly Turkish style buildings with buildings which tried to copy some in Budapest and Vienna) and after WWII for commie looking ones(its good that they were building but I wonder why didn`t they hire more than one architect lol)
