Thanks. This is one of the 'big 4' townships currently u/c in Ahmedabad. By size the list would be
  1. Shantigram
  2. Godrej Garden City
  3. Savvy Swaraaj
  4. Applewoods

There is good growth in the Chandkheda and Naroda areas in the north. Due to proposed metro and BRTS and GIFT city, that area will surely see massive growth in the coming decade, overwhelming all other areas...

Another project incorporated inside the Applewoods limits is the Orchid Harmony and Orchid Greenfield.

Developed by HN Safal and Goyal Group, they are a series of conjoined towers 16 stories tall and will be the tallest residential towers in Ahmedabad.

Towers so close to each other reminds the old city and makes me nervous. 8 towers each of 32 stories adequately spaced apart would be better for the occupants; or six 40 story. Perhaps existing FSI bylaws control part of the deal, or is it construction cost? It would be nice to know the economics of 16 x 16 VS 8 x 32.

This is a great development for residential market nevertheless.

Yes, the main reason is FSI. Although they are already building taller towers than anywhere in the city (except GIFT). So they could have bought more FSI and have something taller as you say.

The land price of this area is rising very fast with many massive residential schemes coming up. That could lead to the closeness of the towers...

Yeah prices are going through the roof. Just out of curiosity, any info on asking price range for these houses and apartments?

I’ll be moving back and retiring in Gandhinagar and my heart is on GIFT development. I have been fortunate to make one or two visits each year and get pleasure from the positive changes I see on each visits. Growth is incredible for the last couple years. 9 million sq feet of single construction project is huge.

You could contact the developer. And nowadays they have a downloadable brochure which may have prices...

This seems quite massive project.
Any latest updates as I can see several towers in google map but the image might still be old!
