Dayummm!!! If they were to do that in Newark, they would probably end up tearing the whole place down for faux-luxury loft condos a couple years later. I still wish they would do that anyway. There are only 5 significant murals in the whole downtown area...

wow! I've never seen a part of a city like this - a collection of grafitti/mural at its best.

Thanks, guys! It's been a while since I've been to this thread. Looks like I did a pretty good job of coverng the murals with this kind of reaction. This source listed the neighborhood as the 6th most stylish in the world.
