I like the height (539m), although it could be taller. The design not so much, especially the top. The CTF is still the best building in Guangthou - it's bold, massive, tall and beautiful.

It is basically rebuilding the current skylines tallest concerning the heights, so not bad considering the layout of the final plan seemed to indicated only 450m in the end.

4 metro stations

about twice the distance from canton tower to citic, but to the east

it's at around 23.116523, 113.378383 on google maps

The distance is quite considerable, it's located more or less across from the Caton fair building, but I'm sure you will be able to see it. Also keep in note that the Pazhou area is being developed on the other side of the river with at least 1 300m+ planned.

\ It seems I cannot post picture links , but a good example is on the first page of this topic or you can copy the link

I seriously don't understand how this can be a competition?? The first one looks tacky and really bad, IMO. And look at dat crown!
Proposal six is elegant, sexy and wonderful. The surroundings of Pro.6 is way better too!( I really like organic landscaping) I love it! Please, pleeease go back to the other design! Oh yea... and Prop.6 is taller
Is the first one the final one now or is there still a chance for the second one??

I prefer the second proposal.
The twisted one is the best.

I have my doubts that the design is anywhere close to final. The layout however is looking at google imagery

True, we'll get a new design for sure. Nevertheless the one in the 2nd pic is brilliant

The main tower plot isn't even in preparation. But i i think this is a good overview of the whole project
Pics posted beetween 29.02. and 08.03.2016 on gaoloumi.

There are two maps showing some different hights. The main tower plot is lettered with not more than 450m on both pics. It's good to see progress this is really huge
