I think no. Distance wise malayo yan. Time wise maybe. Kung alam mo ang traffic condition sa Urdaneta, maybe ok.

Meron pa two alternate route via Carmen, Sta Maria at Asingan labas ng binalonan. The 2nd option is road west of the main hi way. meron eto sa DPC yellow pages. hanapin ko at post ko later.

If you use the Tarlac-Santa Ignacia-Camiling-Bayambang-San Carlos City-Calasiao-Dagupan-San Fabian route, you'll end up in Brgy. Damortis, Rosario, La Union and this is near the entrance of Diversion Road going to Marcos Highway. 1 hr ang mababawas sa byahe pag dito dumaan (we tried it before).

This is a better alternative as its shaves 1 1/2 hr from McArthur Highway. Camiling-San Clemente-Mangatarem-Aguilar-Bugallon-Lingayen-Binmaley-Dagupan(using the De Venecia bypass road that bypasses Downtown Dagupan)-San Fabian route. Sa Brgy. Damortis din ang labas nito. The two routes I mentioned have few vehicles but the 2nd option has fewer vehicles and will bypass Dagupan proper.

It is an extension of SCTEx as it starts at the end of SCTEx in La Paz, Tarlac.

On week ends, if possible, avoid Carmen also. Grabe ang traffic diyan lalo na kapag may special discounted prices sa SM.

I am just wondering, mukhang nawawala sa mapa ang San Manuel, Tarlac ah. Any information guys kung di nga ba dadaan sa San Manuel, Tarlac ang TPLEX? Kasi if it doesn't then sa Cuyapo, Nueva Ecija siya lumusot.

You're just basing on pure assumptions. Does it say they are extending SCTEX? The expressway begins at La Paz SCTEX terminus and toll collection will be different thus making it a separate Tollway.

Yes SCTEX and TPLEX have different concessionaires, but you don't have to exit SCTEX just to get to TPLEX, they are physically connected. They may have different toll rates also. But they have the same operator, which is Tollways Management Corporation. Go to page one and look at the article on the 1st post

if kung extension sya ng SCTEX? YES, in the sense kasi konektado sila.

Pero its a different thing. Iba ang SCTEX, iba ang NLEX at iba ang TPLEX, iba din ang tollgate sa Subic (ano nga ba tawag don?), they're both connected to each other pero hindi mo pede sabihing extension ng tollgate sa Subic ang SCTEX, hindi mo pwedeng sabihing extension ng NLEX ang SCTEX, at hindi mo pwedeng sabihing extension ng SCTEX ang TPLEX.

The terminus of SCTEx is not in La Paz, Tarlac but in Brgy. Balingcanaway, Tarlac City. La Paz is not part of Tarlac City as it is a different municipality. It is still about 10-15 minutes from Brgy. Balingcanaway. If the news reports that the TLUPEx entrance is in La Paz are accurate, then one has to exit SCTEx then drive 10-15 minutes to La Paz to enter TLUPEx. Unless of course, they build an extension road to connect the two.
