Samouco e São Francisco
 Samouco é uma freguesia portuguesa pertencente ao concelho de Alcochete, juntamente com São Francisco e Alcochete (freguesia), com 2,83 km² de área e 3 143 habitantes (2011). Densidade: 1110,6 hab/km². Foi elevado a vila em 9 de Dezembro de 2004. A vila é conhecida pela sua praia fluvial na foz do Tejo com vista para a Ponte Vasco da Gama, sendo uma zona de comércio e passagem por pescadores, mercadores e especialmente apanhadores de ameijoas e caranguejos. É também zona de passagem de aviadores, polícias e militares da Força Aérea, devido à sua proximidade com a Base Aérea nº6. Possui também vários monumentos apetecíveis de ver e visitar, como o Mirante, o Coreto, o Memorial do Chafariz, a Igreja de São Braz e a estátua do Cavador, juntamente com construções recentes como o Parque das Merendas, o Novo Centro de Saúde, A Sede da Junta de Freguesia, e o Parque e Ginásio da Praia. A sua santa padroeira é a Nossa Senhora do Carmo e as festas em sua honra realizam-se na 2ª Sexta-Feira de Julho até á Terça-Feira seguinte.  Se não fossem os fios, principalmente os fios dos telefones, a vila de Samouco teria muito melhor aspecto.

As urbanizações(anos 2000) mais recente já não usam fiação aerea até os cabos de alimentação dos candeeiros passam por baixao da terra.

ya, os Batanetes foram gravados no Samouco.
Houve outra série, também exibida na TVI, gravada numa terra não muito longe do Samouco. Chamava-se Bons Vizinhos e foram gravados na freguesia do Gaio-Rosário (Moita).

Os estúdios são em Bucelas. Os exteriores depende de novela para novela. Mas já têm filmado em vários sítios fora de Lisboa.
