going back to the manila bay reclamation issue, I remember my dad used to tell me how there was a time when he lived in the bay area and your backyard was quite literally the beach. In a way, I suppose, that is why I'm usually not too plussed about hearing about reclamation projects in Manila Bay.

in other nostalgia-related(slightly-aerial related, too) news, whatever happened to Paskohan Village? It was somewhere in Pampanga or so, and apparently the main building was built to resemble a parol from above.

edit: ok, so it's now caled Hilaga, and is more useful now than in its previous form. anyone know if they retained the main structure, though?

I thought this one was already pruned. Good thing it wasn't, because some of the coolest satellites and aerials are here

Yup they reteined the mains structure. They just repainted it.

here's the closed up look at NCR. Laguna de Bay looks like a giant footprint and another distiguishing feature is the (almost) straight line that is the Magahan (sp?) flooway

Yes that definitely is Manggahan floodway
I pass there everyday from Angono, Rizal to work.

EDIT: Hi renell! Can you please post similar pictures of the Cebu City area and the Davao City area if you have them? Thanks!

Wow...amazing satellite imagery! Our country is truly beautiful, even from the view from heaven

On the close up on NCR and Laguna Bay, i can clearly see NAIA
