I'm surprised that this is going up in Abuja and not Lagos. I always thought that Lagos was more economically important. Maybe they're doing it to raise the city's profile as the new capital?

Yes - Lagos is more important economically (Significantly more important)

but this is a private led initiative and I guess, it was their decision - even though of course, they had to get the license for the WTC and they are working with the government.

Well I haven't done much research on the workings of a WTC, but in terms of the basic - supply and demand - I think Abuja is viable for this project.

I will have to do some research on how WTCs work around the world. Obviously though, Lagos should have been the location.
