Best *Compact* Skylines

We've all seen huge, megalomaniac skylines stretching as far as the horizon, with their
skyscrapers so tall you'd surely break your neck trying to find where they end.

This thread, however, is about world's smaller skylines: Minneapolis, Pittsburgh, Capetown, Perth, Montreal...
Though these may not have the same "wow" factor as the TOP 20, they still
manage to punch above their weight and impress with design and aesthetics.

Minneapolis

Midwest's third largest metro has a compact, but well-organized skyline. Many individual towers were designed by famous architectural bureaus.

And when you consider that many buildings not visible here are designed by stellar firms like Michael Graves, Frank Gehry, Jean Nouvel and Herzog & DeMeuron, you have a city that really seems to care about quality.

Nice one in Minneapolis!

To me, the quintessential compact skyline is downtown LA, even though it might not be the densiest one...the way it shapes the panorama is unique

Minneapolis, Pittsburgh, Calgary, Seattle, Denver are good examples of compact skylines.

I don't think Houston is compact for a city with its population.
