I agree. But they have been expanding the skyline quite a bit towards Tanjong Pagar in recent times ( the area on the right in my photo).

An image I took from the other side than yours some time ago.

Regarding Busan. The setting is awesome. Reminds me of Hong Kong.

Great shot, but Londons skyline isn't that compact; it has some clusters and the Shard stands alone.

I always thought Downtown Manhattan was it own little skyline competing with Midtown's skyline.

it does not have iconic supertall buildings.. but it has massive quantity and very dense

Massive Metro Manila, Philippines

Singapore has the best small-compact skyline in my opinion. Looks beautiful with marina bay expansion and you can fit the whole skyline in a photograph.

Actually Ho Chi Minh City's (Saigon's) skyline is pretty much compact.

Downtown Manhattan and Moscow are two of my favourite 'compact' skylines.
I think London has some good skylines too.
I'm surprised Canary Wharf hasn't been put forward yet, even though it is only a handful of buildings:

Other cities are starting to pick up Manchester, Birmingham isn't exactly compact though, the City of London will be my best compact skyline when the pinnacle, 20 fenchurch, leadenhall, 52-52 lime, 100 bishopsgate etc get built.
