Minneapolis is so underrepresented in these kinds of threads.

1. New York - most massive
2. Chicago - size, aesthetics
3. Seattle - aesthetics, natural environment
4. Los Angeles - height, compactness
5. San Francisco - density, natural setting
6. Philadelphia - best mid-rise to hi-rise transition
7. Minneapolis - density, aesthetics
8. Pittsburgh - aesthetics, setting
9. Dallas - aesthetics
10. Denver - density, setting

Didn't make the cut:

Boston - too plateau
Houston - too bland
Miami - too residential
Atlanta - too spread out

If OKC gets two or three more modern 600+ footers, it will start jumping up the list dramatically. It already has a number of fantastic pre-war towers.

I agree. The quality, balance, and height should get it a mention in every top 10. I expect foreigners to draw a blank when they think of Minneapolis, but it's surprising how little props it gets from people in the United States.

1.New York(The most American feeling, skyscrapers from 30th or so of last century combined with the modern ones, really massive and comfortable)
2.Chicago(It looks more planned than NY, the 3 big brothers hold the skyline to be unbeatable, but comparing to NY, it lacks some traditional feeling)
3.Seatle(I really like the space needle and the snow mountain in the background)
4.San Fransisco(the typical building makes it so unique, though it's not that tall or massive)
5.Los Angles(just because it's massive)
6.Pitsburg(small but looks like a gardern city, which is suitable to live in)
I can not tell others from each other in fact, so my list just contains 6 cities

It's hilarious how much cleaner and greener Pittsburgh is in the present, as it was once one of the dirtiest, most industrialized cities in the country.
