FYI, 151 Maiden Street is aka 39 Fletcher Street.

Zoning Approved on Dec 2014.
http://a810-bisweb.nyc.gov/bisweb/BS...de=ES855063987

Note:
There is a discrepancy between the height in the filing and this zoning document.

In filing the height is 520ft and in the zoning document that had just been approved says the highest point of this tower is 629 ft.

this tower and 80 South Street will be amongst 4 tallest towers along the East River waterfront and they're right next to each other. 55 Water Street and One New York Plaza are currently the only taller towers. (which are not visible in this picture)

Thread title should be updated to 629ft/192m and prep. Almost 200m tall ... and given the location it will have a nice impact on the Lower Manhattan skyline.

Fortis's 60-Story Seaport Tower Is Actually Happening

Quote:
It looks like Fortis's sky-high South Street Seaport tower is moving forward after years of planning. Broker Fredrik Eklund, whose Instagram account is a small goldmine of new renderings and things of the like, just took to the social media platform to promote his involvement in 151 Maiden Lane, to be known as One Seaport, all while revealing that the tower will stand a whopping 60 stories tall along the East River. October's round of renderings for the residential tower depicted a helix-shaped building compliments of architects Goldstein, Hill and West, who may still be involved in the project. At the time, the building was expected to top out at 51 stories and hold 74 apartments, but given the added floors, the building's apartment count is literally up in the air.

As it is going to be in the heart city of United States, i guess name could be more attractive as one seaport seems giving a bit of old structural buildings.

Formerly known as 151 Maiden Lane, the Goldstein, Hill and West-designed tower will rise 60 stories and come in at just under 700 feet—at 670, to be exact. Sure, it'll be tall for the Seaport, but it's among a new class of sky-grazing residential towers along the East River and counts as its companion Extell's One Manhattan Square, now rising just north of the Manhattan Bridge.

Nice to see this one join the ranks of skyscrapers. Elevator going up!

South Street Seaport's 60-Story Tower Reveals Pricing (Sort of)
The development's approved offering plan reveals what condos will ask on average
Curbed NY

Quote:
With its perch on the East River waterfront and the views that will come with it, Fortis Property Group's forthcoming 60-story South Street Seaport tower was bound to be pricey. TRD reports that the building's offering plan has been approved by the AG, with a projected sellout of $272 million. That means the average ask for a condo in the 80-unit tower will be $3.4 million. (The building will also have 17 storage units for sale.)
