Looks like you were much interested in Bursa. There are many photos but mostly from East Bursa. Haven't you been to West part of the city?

I only spent one day in Bursa, so I didn┤t have enough time to explore the whole city. After having visited the old town, I just made an extended walk through some normal neighbourhoods without following a special direction.

Nice updates. Bursa seems to be a busy town. Is there an old bazar over there?

Thank you! Yes, there┤s a quite large 15th century bazar in Bursa - you can see some pictures of it in my first set of Bursa.

From Bursa, I took the bus (The most common way of passenger transport between Turkish cities) to...

Ankara, Turkey (Part I)

The Turkish capital, today the country┤s 2nd largest city with a population of aroung 4.5 million, was only a small provincial town before it was made the capital of the new Turkish state after WW I. Although the city has been extended very much since this time, including a completely new modern city center some kilometers away from the small and a bit run down old town Ulus, Ankara still doesn┤t really have the atmosphere of a large metropolis, but rather seems like a bunch of quite calm small towns - which is not necessarily a bad thing when you are just coming from the overcrowded and noisy Istanbul.

Here┤s the first set of my Ankara pics:
