I stayed in the Belarus the first time I visited Minsk.....I found out about Michael Jackson's death when I switched on the TV in my room! Is it a complete renovation of both the interior and exterior?

Russian cities are much more European( especially Moscow and St. Petersburg) than Minsk

I don't know any Central European city center that looks like that, I don't know about eastern European ones - could you point out a non-Russian example other than Minsk?

Ok, that looks much more like what I had expected.

PS: There are cities however with almost exclusively commie blocks. Kaliningrad would come to my mind for example.
