Visiting Singapore

I'm planning on visiting Singapore next month for 3-4 days, any tips and/or suggestions? Are there any twitter accounts I should follow as a tourist?

I am really into taking urban and cityscape pictures so I would appreciate any advice I could get! (Especially for unknown spots to take snaps from)

Well the entire Tanjong Pagar is your playground. The area ranges from shophouses and winding backlanes, to the 50 storey public housing development Pinnacle@Duxton, which you can go up at just $5 payable by your ezlink card.

Marina Bay is a must go too, and it's hard not to miss. Best viewpoints include Marina Bay Sands (from Bayfront Stn) which you can go to the rooftop for a fee as well, or simply just stay around the promenade. Behind MBS is the recently opened Gardens by the Bay, which boosts a lot a photogenic spots too. The gardens links to Marina Barrage, which has a green roof where you can take some shots too.

Walk around the Marina Bay, which has a continuous Promenade all round except for the floating platform in front of Marina Square. If you are keen you can turn into Singapore River from the Merlion for a few shots of the skyscrapers viewed from the creek.

Off the beaten track, some interesting places to go include Kampong Glam around Sultan Mosque, Little India, Tiong Bahru post-war flats (you can take bus 16 from Orchard). If you are adventurous enough, try going to some popular vantage points such as Blk 79 Toa Payoh Central, Shaw Plaza Carpark, Ang Mo Kio Blk 316A. I'll leave it to other forumers to suggest more of such places, I'm just a novice.
