Cylindrical buildings probably make optimal space for elevator shafts and technical rooms, if any.

I don't know if this has been posted here, but it's my favorite, and in my home state: Westin Peachtree Plaza Hotel. Tallest hotel in the world at the time.



A cylinder is probably my favorite shape for a building. It really gives a city an edge to it. They're so daring.

I have a friend staying in it this weekend for the Falcons game. I envy him so much right now.

At least it fits in with the rest of the skyline. Renaissance Center is an eyesore surrounded by all the lovely 1930s Art Deco skyscrapers.

I definitely prefer cilindrical buildings, although there are many cute boxes out there, the beautyness of this buildings are superior.

Cylindrical buildings are structurally very efficient as it is torsionally very rigid given the shape
