They look like that game where you have to stack the blocks until they fall over!

Mirvish believes that Toronto is finally ready for a project of this calibre. I'm sure some citizens of Toronto are not. Personally, I'm hopeful that Torontonians have moved beyond thinking buildings like Shangri-La are iconic/ground breaking. Time will tell and this proposal is the first test.

Agree 100%.

Btw, the AGO budget was puny in comparison to the Disney Center in Los Angeles or the Guggenheim. Despite that, you know immediately when you walk inside that this guy knows what he's doing. There's a gargantuan gulf between his work and what others pass off as architecture.

It's only when you put on your first Armani suit that you realize that your $300 one ain't all you thought it was.

if it is build it will break the 300m for sure. 90 floors and under 300m seems unrealistic. i think all three will be around 340m-380m.

If these do break the 300m mark it will be close. No taller than 310m, that is for sure.

It is concievable that it might not be a supertall- Eureka Tower is 91 floors, and not a supertall to the roof.
Design looks a bit like City of Capitals in Moscow.

The comments made by people in the news articles are vehemently against these condo towers being built.

The designs will undoubtably be amazing. Frank Gehry is a world renowned architect, and these photos are not the final designs.

Architect Gehry says condo design 'not final'

TORONTO -- Frank Gehry has heard the scathing reviews of the proposed condo and mixed-use development he's designed for downtown Toronto, but the famed Canadian architect insisted Monday that the plans simply represent a first draft.
"You have to realize that it's precarious to show projects like this and make them look finished," Gehry said at the official unveiling of the development's suggested design.

Imagine if the taller center tower ends up being 299 meters tall. It would cause quite the commotion on here. "A new Toronto tallest skyscraper that isn't a supertall!"

It's a rare Frank Gehry when even the models look good!

The anticipation on this one is already killing me!
