Arena design competition

I use powerpoint. A mate of mine made me a template and i put the pictures and words and shit on it.

Thanks, Ok good, these arent renders just 2d exports. I take an export with lines and then without likens and merge them in photoshop.

Oulu Arena

The arena is designed to look like an old field house seen in some colleges in the U.S.

The exterior is composed of mainly glass and brick the building dimensions are 114m by 83m.

There is a huge window on either end of the building. The arenas total capacity is 9592. It has 26 suites, 4 press boxes, 2 party suites, and 1 sideline restaurant.


The arena has 1000+ parking spaces but they disappeared during rendering.

Maybe but it could use a little refining because 20,000 seats would be too much for any school other than a top texas football school

Ok, but i'm not entering.I want a break from competitions for a while.

Why dont you just build a college stadium yourself? It dosent have to be part of a competition?

Also, lots of people's computers cant handle 20k seats. Plus I dont know about others but i know very little about american football stadia. Anyway, les discuss this on the 'Your own stadium design' thread, not here.

if u wanna attend in a new competition, just looking for a bigger free area in one of the USA cities. Then search a high school to build for.

I always do this when i want a new challange.

Here are the results of the competition.

Judges were asked to give points in three different categories.

1. Design of the arena interior (max 10 points)
2. Design of the arena exterior (max 10 points)
3. Design of the outside areas (max 5 points)

Both designers has done absolutely great job and there is not going to be any point reductions.

And here are the final results:



The winner and the gold medalist is Leedsrule. Congratulations!
