For Gods sake, guys. This is a beautiful thread - why ruin it?

Yes, Vilnius was under Polish control for 20 years. Yes, Poles feel great sentiment towards it. So what? It's nothing compared to almost 700 years when the city was and remains a capital of Lithuania. Why be so touchy about it?

Back to the topic.
Love this building.

and this one:

Would love to see more photos of interiours.

When are people going to learn that if they insist on disrupting and politicizing photography threads that they WILL BE GIVEN AN INFRACTION? I am sure there are websites all over the place where people can fight in joyous happiness with each other over border changes half a century ago, but this is not one of them.
ALSO I CAN VERY CLEARLY SEE WHO IS WRITING THESE DISGUSTING TAGS. Anybody want an infraction for adding more?
If I see any more like these:
Lithuania sucks (put in by shadower), or polish idiots (Depeched) then I will hand out more infractions. Please grow up and act like adults.

Edited: nevermind, later pictures all have discriptions, only those in the beggining lack description.

Whenever anyone sees politicization in ANY photothread just send me a pm directly and I will deal with it. I am determined that there should be none of this nonsense and fighting to ruin beautiful pictures!

Wow, upon logging back in today, I see there must've been some really interesting discussion here since yesterday evening (I'm sorry to have missed the last part of that )...

Anyway, before moving along to the 3rd oldest university in the Interwar Poland, I'd be happy to offer a couple of calming pics from some spa towns (apart from Krynica, which has been recently covered by RS_UK-PL).
____

Ciechocinek

Building of the Baths No. 1

Indoor saline-thermal pool (building on the left)

The complex of outdoor saline-thermal pools

Some hot stuff...

____

Nałęczów

The Spring of Love (such a romantic name given to that spring, isn't it? )

Strange, I could see them on my screen alright...

Anyway, I've now used a different image hosting site and replaced those pics. Let me know if it shows up fine for you.

@All

Folks, I was advised that some pics in my previous posts would not upload/show up, which seems to have been an issue with the image hosting site I had been using from time to time.

It's now been fixed, so if anyone was interested, you may want to revisit the previous pages of this thread.

Cheers.
