As it stands, would be the tallest if nothing else is built before. I'm not as up-to-date as some other forumers on proposals, though.

This will be our new tallest. There is nothing else taller currently under construction. We are hoping to God that the FAA will let us go to 1,000 feet or over 300m with another tower, but it's difficult to say.

In 2005, the City of Miami and developers took MIA and the FAA to task about their height restrictions being too stringent and their equipment not up to date, but now they've come up with this new one-engine, emergency airspace rule that could kill anything taller than Panorama. One Brickell CityCentre was originally planned to go to 1,102 feet and MiamiCentral 1,120 feet. Now we don't know what we're going to get.

Maybe not u/c but aren't there several towers planned in the 900-1000 range?

I thought the FAA approved one bay plaza at 1010' and that a few 900 footers were going to start soon?

EDIT: Just read an article at SSP that the FAA's trying to cut One bay to half the height, those idiots

Hope they are absolutely not successful.

This will be the tallest in the city by 33 feet (10 Meters) unless something else is built faster.

Doesn't look like it. It is nice to see construction of condos is picking up in Miami.

Tibor Hollo intends to reapply with the dreaded FAA to take Panorama Tower up to 849 ft.: http://www.thenextmiami.com/index.ph...anorama-tower/

That's two more floors of condos you can sell.

You're trying to apply logic to the FAA. Not going to work.

Is there any other place left in the skyline that the FAA wouldn't get in the way of the "next tallest" getting built? I mean even taller than 1101 Brickell.
