In fact I think it resembles a giant caterpillar worming its way through the pretty surrounding buildings.
Yes it is out of place, but for me it is a building so futuristic that will be a tourist attraction, much like the guggenhiem in Bilbao. Both buildings are controversial but are both gorgeous imho.

It's easily the most amazing building in Poland; they were right to preserve it. Absolutely wonderful building and one of the few things the Soviets did right. It's the Empire State Building of Poland. Gorgeous.

what could you hate possibly more than an ugly building??
one that is both ugly and UNFINISHED.

Jaka Tower in Makati, Manila Philippines started construction in 1996... and isn't complete up to now. The owner has given up on it...

HATE HATE HATE!! Specially it's on prime location.
(It's that one in the lower middle of pic... 17 years of ugliness and counting)

up close..

That concrete looks horrible. Someone should go in there to report back to the media about it.

Why on earth do people hate the MetLife building? It is one of the best in the city in my estimation.

I agree with Hunsers list. Those buildings seem to be hated the most.

I would also like to add the Brooklyner

Hate this one: 60 Wall Street, NY

I see nothing tasteful. Just a cheap attempt to not be modernist and ends up a tacky overwide hunk. Really detracts from the beauty of the Woolworth and Chase Manhattan Plaza. Belongs more in Las Vegas.

Also that zebra building is just stupid.
