Finger cross. Toronto could look amazing with this project.

Looking at that second render, it`s truly amazing how transformed Front street would look. If we look at the Convention Centre in it`s current form;

And then look at that render, what a difference this would make for the street scape. This will truly transform the pedestrian experience, which this area so desperately needs.

I am also loving the casino render with those pods. It does look very casino-futuristic, adding some fun to the realm.

Here`s hoping Mr. Fun Police (Adam Vaughan) doesn`t shoot this down. He has already killed club district and slowly restaurant row - I wonder what his next big move will be.

The taller non casino towers do look very close to each other, but on closer inspection they seem to conform to what one sees throughout downtown Toronto. Look at how small those people are on the top floor of that glass section connecting the 2 towers. If that was a city street they'd be enough room for a good sized sidewalk on each side and 4 lanes of car traffic.

I think the closeness is an optical illusion and simply masks the fact that these buildings are gargantuan. I'm also loving that public space across the street with the fountains. It just feels and looks so right.

Goes to show how important architecture is. What is a city beyond the life humans add to it? It's really simply a collection of buildings, streets, infrastructure, at a specific location.

Those look like the renders of a project that is well into development and with good prospects.

I just realized there's a swimming pool on the roof with a glass bottom. It seems like they know what they're doing; a casino needs to be over the top. When out on the town, people want visual stimulation and to be wowed.

Absolutely beautiful. It's going to be a great sight when this amazing project is completed in my very own city.

I know they are not that close to each other, but it will look like that from a far distance and a somewhat oblique angle.
And you describe it as a distance comparable to a road, but above in the pic the distance in between is half of that.

Look how small the cars are in the driveway (not the road) and how small the people are in that section of glass (the top or '6th' floor) connecting the 2 towers. 2 lanes of traffic could fit in each of those '4 sections' separated by mullions; or 8 lanes of traffic.

These towers should have different heights. They really look ugly and ruin the effect the CN tower has on the Toronto skyline! I love how the CN tower dominates the rest of the skyline. This is why Toronto has one of the greatest skylines in the world.

these will be among the tallest twin towers. only after petronas, park towers, and possible some mumbai buildings if finished earlier. and 3 meters taller than the ones in paris
