I'm just hopeful that elliot is back for good! He has been sorely missed around here!

That does look like a glorious tower; diamond patterned glass canopy and all.

TB: check out the December issue of Spacing Toronto (hard copy). Pretty sure (?) they used my "ancient" future skyline from Humber Bay Parks. I updated it somewhat but left out dozens of projects that simply wouldn't be discernable in the clutter (threw in one Oxford and one Mirvish/Gehry for laughs).

If Toronto builds a casino it needs to have a Illuminated light show. I just got back from Atlantic City, NJ. Harrah's has a light show looks cool! The new casino Revel (cost 2.7 billion) is going to light up like a tv billboard but as it is currently a ghost town due to off season they are to cheap to turn it on. I would have enjoyed seeing it. Revel also has the biggest escalator I have ever seen. There concert hall also has a light show. I have never been to vegas but Im sure they have some really cool illumination stuff going on. Toronto needs to step its game up I hope this casino isn't some half ass atempt at being cool. Also Toronto should ban atms in the casino as it will help a bit with the problem gamblers.

Here's my take on the Oxford/Foster "placeholder" designs dropped into a mega future pano from Cherry Beach.

Maybe we can help get this project rolling. The city of Toronto is consulting its residents through this survey!
