BAKU | AzerEnerji Headquarters | 134m | 28 fl | Prep

Architect: P&T Architects

The project: This building is a headquarters for AzerEnerji, the state provider of power for a whole of Azerbaijan. P&T Architects was therefore tasked with producing a building that is highly secure and functional, but equally interesting in terms of design. The 28-storey tower is capped with a triple high lounge space with views across Baku. The ground floor, meanwhile, holds a museum for the founder of the modern state of Azerbaijan, Heydar Aliyev.

Key points: The building is critical as a hub for Azerbaijan's energy needs, and its importance was reflected in the design. Electricity is expressed in the tension between the three tower elements where the central element is sticking out at an angle, as well as by illuminating the core on all floors seen from a distance as a large central element of energy. The form of the building is designed to reflect both importance and authority, sitting on a 1.4 meter base above street level.

It is normal. All buildings can not be very different and unique. It will be harmonized with surroundings

Presently, the most abnormal render is one for the building on H. Aliyev avenue - Baku Towers. Hopefully this issue will be solved during the construction process if those responsible for it are not blind. I think that this avenue is to be designed in unique style. It must be differed according to its name.
