Lodz
Zmianatematu cafe, which was designed by Polish architects xm3. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() "With a very small budget we created an outstanding space to host the artistic and culture parties for the creative youth of the city. The owners of the restaurant want to propose a space for happenings, art-exhibitions, and various art-oriented venues." "The building itself dates to the end of XIX century. The elevation is a typical Neo-classical style. During the years the ground floor has changed function several times. Now being empty and unfinished the inside offered us the space to take and adjust. We decided to leave it as raw as it was possible. The proposal was to make the floor from the epoxy mass, leave the walls in raw roughcast and take the electrical installation out and leave it on the walls covered in steel, black tubes." http://www.dezeen.com/2011/08/30/zmianatematu-by-xm3/

I found this design really cool.
The house is situated in a small village at the outskirts of Warsaw. Safe House Architect: Robert Konieczny "The clients’ top priority was to gain the feeling of maximum security in their future house, which determined the building’s outlook and performance. The house took the form of a cuboid in which parts of the exterior walls are movable." ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

Warsaw
InterContinental Designed by a team of architects under the leadership of the late Tadeusz Spychała. One of the best in Europe. The Polish architect came up with a creative way not to block sunlight to the low rise building next to it. I think it's great. ![]() ![]()

Looks like the same modern junk being built everywhere else in the world.

Warsaw's (and the world's) narrowest house opened today.
The new house is only four-feet wide, but it comes with a bathroom, a kitchen and a bedroom, and its first tenant will move in this weekend. Architect Jakub Szczesny designed the two-story aluminum and plastic house three years ago and it's been built in a narrow space between a pre-war house and a modern apartment block in downtown Warsaw. The Foundation of Polish Modern Art helped him fund it. ![]() New York City, take note.

@ rychlik
Is the tram station in Wroclaw full of graffiti meanwhile? It is really amazing, but not "kibice-proofed" I`am afraid... |

McKowski, not sure the state it is at the moment. There should be a ban on spray paint for crazy soccer fans of Europe.
