Amazing last picture. It really reminds me of an old temple, church or mosque, but reinterpreted as a train station. That's probably where they got their inspiration. The title railway cathedral fits very well, but railway temple would be even more appropriate.

I agree! 2 decades I took the train at Central station hundreds of times, and everytime I was overwhelmed by the grandeur of the station, even before it was completely renovated and extended.

Thank you Sydney. I love all kinds of urban transport, especially tram and subway.

Visiting the newly opened Red Star Line Museum. This museum in the original buildings of the RSL compagny, tells the story of the 2 million European emigrants who embarked in Antwerp to the United States. So it's more or less the little sister of Ellis Island in New York.
Among the passengers were many European jews like Albert Einstein, Irving Berlin and Golda Meïer.

A changing skyline, judging by the amount of cranes. Good shots.

Indeed. The north of the city is undergoing a massive make-over.

I suppose I've used the full 700 mm of my lens for some of the images.

Nice! Antwerp looks fantastic, I need to visit it one day. Loving the industrial feel and the multi-cultural vibe that comes with being a port. Cool photos!

Yes, back in the summer it was either Antwerp or Brussels, in the end I went for Brussels, and I'm glad I did for I met a lovely Korean girl there.

Don't hesitate to visit my Paris thread.
