Medellin - Vintage

Medellín - Vintage

Hey guys!

For those who have no idea where Medellin is:

Medellin is a city located in Antioquia department in Colombia, Medellin is considered a "new city" because the goverment of the last decade think that traditional architecture was old and makes the city looks old and poor that's why they start a process of modernization and this destroy the whole city

So I'm gonna show how Medellin looked like before "modernization" and how changed from Colonial town to a big city with 4.5 million people

Hope you enjoy it!

Wow. I have been many times to Medellín and definitely it didn't look like in these photographs, it has changed enormously and even though it is currently a great modern city, it is a real shame that all those magnificent buildings, its architectural legacy, have been demolished seeking for modernity.
